American Baptist Home Mission Societies Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by American Baptist Home Mission Societies
The application window for the 2025–26 ABHMS scholarships is now closed. Please return in the fall for details about scholarship opportunities for the 2026–27 academic year. If you have questions about ABHMS scholarships, contact our Scholarship Office.
Overview of Awards
- Scholarship amounts vary and are disbursed directly to the recipient’s school to be applied toward tuition charges.
- ABHMS awards are available to full-time students as well as part-time students and those attending community college. For the 2025–2026 academic year, part-time and community college awards are offered in the range of $750–$1,500, subject to available funds.
- Recipients who remain eligible may receive scholarship support for up to six years (consecutive or nonconsecutive) for a single course of study, regardless of whether they enroll full- or part-time.
- Do not attempt to apply using older links; our application platform has changed.
- ABHMS scholarships cannot be combined with other ABHMS funding. An exception: Ph.D. and D.Min. students who receive awards through LABS or IBS are still eligible to apply for Continuing Education (CE) grants.
- Note: Some specialized scholarships carry additional eligibility criteria.
