Assistance League of North Coast Scholarships

Purpose
Our objective for the 2025–26 year is to provide scholarships to graduating seniors within our service area in alignment with the Mission of the Assistance League® of North Coast.
Which schools are eligible
One scholarship will be awarded to a student from each of the following schools:
- Carlsbad High School
- El Camino High School
- General Raymond Murray High School
- Alta Vista High School
- Carlsbad Village Academy
- Surfside High School
- Mission Vista High School
- New Haven School
- North County Trade Tech High School
- Oceanside High School
- Rancho Buena Vista High School
- Sage Creek High School
- Vista High School
Who may apply
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Intend to enroll in a college, university, or trade school and be able to provide proof of acceptance.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Understand that selection will be based on demonstrated school and community service, financial need, and academic record.
- Be aware that family members or relatives of Assistance League members are ineligible.
Application instructions
1. Fill out every section of the application form, including Personal Information, School Information, Community Information, and the Essay.
2. Provide an official or school transcript. You may either attach the transcript to the online application or email it to scholarships@alnc.org.
3. Include two letters of recommendation written within the past year from a school official, teacher, employer, or another community member who has known you for at least one year (no family members). Recommendation letters can be attached to the online application or sent by email to scholarships@alnc.org.
4. Submit a COMPLETE application by APRIL 14, 2026.

- The application is available below as an online form and includes a Save and Continue option so you can save your progress and return later if needed.
Additional deadline for supporting documents
- If you did not attach the transcript or letters of recommendation to your online submission, those documents may be emailed to scholarships@alnc.org by no later than April 15, 2025.
Selection process and notification
The Scholarship Committee will review all submissions and evaluate candidates. Finalists will be invited to interview with members of the Scholarship Committee. All applicants will be informed of the Committee’s decisions after the final selections are made.
