AATCC Foundation Textile Merchandising Scholarship — Overview
The AATCC Foundation is offering a $2,000 scholarship directed at undergraduate students studying textile merchandising or closely related fields.
Who is eligible
- Rising first-year students and current undergraduates
- Enrolled at a college or university in the United States
- Pursuing coursework or a program in textile merchandising, retail, management, or similar concentrations
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- United States citizen or permanent resident (Green Card)
Note: Awardees may apply again to receive scholarship support for a second year.
How recipients are chosen
Selection is based on:
- Evidence of steady academic progress toward the chosen degree
- Demonstrated financial need
- Relevant work history, including internships and other employment
Application deadline and notification
- Applications must be submitted by February 28, 2026.
- Applicants will be informed of decisions by early summer.
Required application materials
- Resume or a letter detailing work experience (internships included)
- Personal statement that candidly addresses your aspirations, financial circumstances, and — if you have decided — your intended career path after graduation
- A copy of your most recent academic transcript
